Greystones - Oak Lodge

Oak Lodge is a detached, single-storey property set within private grounds in the Malvern area of Herefordshire. The woodland surrounding it—25 acres shared with the owner—is yours to explore on foot, with bluebells carpeting the forest floor in spring and fungi flourishing come autumn. Everything happens on the ground floor: an open-plan kitchen and living space with a breakfast bar, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a shower room. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. In the living area, a 40-inch TV and Freesat keep you entertained on quieter evenings.

Outside, a deck and garden furniture overlook the grounds, and there's a barbecue if you want to cook. Two cars can park on site. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are all included. The nearest shops are three miles away; pubs and restaurants are five miles off. Witley Court Gardens and Hampton Court Castle—both with river walks and castle tours—are within reach for a day out, as is The Chase distillery. No smoking indoors.
