Mouse Castle Barn

Through the front door of Mouse Castle Barn you enter a ground-floor layout built for ease. The living room opens via French doors onto a courtyard; the kitchen-diner sits ready with an electric range, dishwasher and all basics for self-catering. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms mean everyone gets their own space—three of the beds are doubles with ensuite showers, and the fourth holds two singles with a separate toilet nearby. Electricity, bed linen and towels are supplied, and there is parking on site.

The barn stands a mile from Hay-on-Wye in open countryside where walking routes branch in every direction. Mortimer's Trail, Offa's Dyke, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons are all within reach of a day trip. The nearest pub is three-quarters of a mile away. The property is for exclusive use and does not allow smoking. Note that farm machinery moves through the parking area.
