Bosbury is a quiet Herefordshire village surrounded by countryside – cider orchards, hop fields, and networks of footpaths that lead into rolling farmland. The 13th-century church dominates the centre, and the Bell Inn sits just two doors from Oakley Cottage, making village life immediately accessible without the cottage feeling hemmed in.
The cottage itself is Grade II listed and 15th-century, with the character that brings: exposed beams, a woodburner, and steep stairs to the first floor. Downstairs holds an open-plan kitchen and sitting area that opens onto a south-facing garden, with a study space upstairs alongside the bedroom. One king-size bed, one bathroom with bath and shower, and linen and towels provided. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking – electric oven, gas hob, microwave, air fryer. Wi-Fi and electricity are included, and there's initial fuel for the stove. An enclosed patio garden has furniture and sits over an old well. On-street parking is at the front.
The property is for adults only. Smoking is not permitted. Arrival is after 15:00 and departure before 10:00.
