Bugatti House is an upside-down barn conversion where the living space stretches across the first floor, its windows on three sides facing out across Herefordshire farmland. Downstairs, two bedrooms and a bathroom provide the sleeping quarters. One room has a super king bed; the other two singles. Essentials including electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are covered, and one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The first-floor layout means the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas command the views. You can cook properly here—there's an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics. French doors open onto a balcony furnished with outdoor seating and a portable barbecue. In summer months, guests can use the shared heated swimming pool (9.75m x 4.9m) in the grounds. Parking for one car is on site.

The property sits in countryside between the Wye Valley and the Malvern Hills, within walking distance of rural routes. The owner has some interesting quirks—a vintage car and a Gypsy Moth aeroplane on the property. No smoking indoors. Check-in is after 3pm, checkout before 10am.

In The Pink

Clean, comfortable and cosy (though not small) this holiday cottage is outstanding with everything you could need, even down to the tiny details like teabags, toilet rolls and fresh flowers. Would definitely recommend.
