Hay-on-Wye is six miles away; Hereford and its cathedral are fifteen; Brecon, with its galleries and regimental museum, takes twenty-two minutes by car. The surrounding countryside offers immediate walks from the door, with views of Hay Bluff visible from the bedrooms.

Cromwell House sleeps six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor contains an open-plan living and dining space with a working fire, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and direct access to the enclosed garden. Upstairs, a super king ensuite and two further bedrooms share a family bathroom. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; the first fire is laid on.

The enclosed rear garden has lawn, patio seating and a barbecue. Private parking accommodates three cars; an electric charging point is available at cost. One pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
