Cuckoo Lodge is a two-bedroom property sleeping four, built in 2023, with everything on one level. The main living space opens onto a decked area where the private hot tub sits—a four-person tub perfect for unwinding after exploring the surrounding countryside. The kitchen has what you need to self-cater: electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. One bedroom has a super king bed, the other two single beds. There's a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and toilet. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; pets stay free.

The lodge stands five miles from Hay-on-Wye, the market town famous for its bookshops and literary festival, with restaurants and independent shops within easy reach. The Castlefields Country Inn and Restaurant, which serves traditional food, is just 60 metres away. From here you can reach Offa's Dyke, the Herefordshire Trail and Marches Way on foot, or drive to the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, and nearby National Trust sites including Skenfrith Castle. Local activities include golf, fishing, riding and canoeing. Hereford city and Ross-on-Wye are also nearby. No smoking inside.
