What visitors say
We found this campsite after arriving at our original booking and quickly realising it wasn’t for us, and we’re so glad we did! We received such a warm welcome from the gentleman on reception, who showed us to a lovely little pitch. It felt like we had our own private garden, with fencing around it and a picnic table too. He kindly gave us a tour of the facilities, and everything was spotless. The toilet and shower block was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. There was also a campers’ kitchen with washing-up facilities and even a fridge/freezer available if needed. He also pointed us in the direction of a lovely church and stream nearby, as well as recommending great places for dinner and breakfast, which was really appreciated. We only stayed for one night, but we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return if we’re in the area again. Highly recommended!

Wow!! I was in amazed at how friendly and welcoming the owners were. The Campsite is huge and the location is absolutely spot on for Stonehenge National Park. We were very lucky to have an unexpected upgrade in the Glamping Pods, we were booked in for the Festival Pod, but upon arrival they moved us into the Yurt, what a wonderful place to stay in, the Yurt was very clean and had everything you could want inside, a fridge, kettle with cups, tea, coffee, milk and sugar, 2 bedside lamps, a double bed a 2 seater sofa and a log burner amongst other bits of furniture. The Shower rooms and toilets were clean and modern. The whole site was impeccable and was maintained to a high standard. I thank the owners very much for making our stay a pleasant one as we had a very comfortable stay, my only gripe would be of my own doing as I wished that we could have stayed for a longer period of time, even if we were in the Festival Pod, as many other Campsites are not in this bracket of cleanliness and do not have a warm and friendly atmosphere as this one.

Amazing campsite find. We hadn’t planned to stop in Stonehenge on route to Cornwall, however broke down and called the campsite hopeful of stopping off for the night to try fix the van. Pete and his family who manage to site were so welcoming and helpful. Coming to our rescue by letting us fix the van the following day. Pete even took us into Salisbury to collect the parts we needed to fix the van. So incredibly thankful of the hospitality shown. The site itself is clean, with big plots with grass and hard standing’s with electric and non electric hook ups. Kitchen wash area, showers and toilets. The site is dog friendly and on a bus route. We will definitely use this site a stop over when heading west in the future.

Had the most magical weekend, the staff are super friendly, the campsite itself is homely and has everything you need. Decent showers. Clean toilets, the food options were great - lots of vegan-friendly options which was a nice surprise, and the best part: the wellness and workshops - it’s worth going for those alone. Regular shuttles to Stonehenge, picturesque walks everywhere. Will be back next year, loved it!
