About Hurstwood Farm
Hurstwood Farm sits in the rolling countryside of East Sussex, within reach of High Hurstwood. The site takes tent pitches alongside glamping accommodation and static lodges or pods, offering a choice between traditional camping and more sheltered stays on the same farmland.
Facilities are straightforward: showers are available. Nightly rates start from £50. The mixed accommodation types mean families or groups splitting between tents and glamping can stay together, though the basic facilities suggest this is somewhere to base yourself for exploring the surrounding area rather than a resort-style experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Wonderful Experience at Hurstwood Equestrian This was my third visit to Hurstwood Equestrian, and once again it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and the whole environment was calm, friendly, and professional. A huge thank you to Amy for the simulator session. I arrived feeling quite anxious and overwhelmed, but Amy immediately put me at ease. She took the time to really understand me, what I was feeling, and what was going on behind the scenes with my riding. Her kind, patient approach helped me relax and enjoy the experience from the very start. Amy is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also great fun to learn from. She has a wonderful way of explaining things that makes everything easy to understand. The simulator session was fascinating and gave us both a much deeper understanding of our riding. We came away feeling more confident, more motivated, and with a much clearer understanding of our riding and how to improve it. My boyfriend also thoroughly enjoyed his session and was equally impressed by Amy’s supportive teaching style and expertise. We also had the pleasure of riding with Chloe, who was absolutely wonderful. She is kind, encouraging, and has a fantastic way of building confidence while helping you improve. Whether during flatwork, cross-country, or out on a hack, she made every experience enjoyable and rewarding. The horses deserve a special mention too. Minstrel, Ted, and William were all incredible—beautiful, kind, and a pleasure to ride. They truly made our visit extra special. The facilities at Hurstwood are outstanding, the cross-country course is fantastic, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Everything is so well maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the yard is welcoming and relaxed. A special mention also to Mike, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and to his wonderful, beautiful dogs, who were an absolute delight and added even more charm to an already fantastic experience. Thank you to everyone at Hurstwood for another unforgettable visit. We have learnt so much, had an amazing time, and cannot wait to come back again soon. Highly recommended to riders of all levels. Thank you so much If we could give more stars we would. Bella and Ed 🐴❤️

Lovely part of the countryside, and the set up with the huts in the field is pretty idyllic. Very comfortable accommodation, with some cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, kettle inside. Clean toilets and bathroom. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff, lovely dogs. Only gripe would be that the hut was stifling hot, but not much can be done about the weather, (maybe a vent in the roof)? 🤔 Would well recommend though 🙂
