Shallcross Hall Cottages - Toddbrook

Toddbrook cottage is one of four apartments created from a converted farmhouse in the High Peak. Everything here is on the first floor: you enter into an open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed, then move through to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, with an oven, hob and microwave. The two bedrooms sleep four on a double and two singles, and there's one bathroom with a bath and shower.

The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. One dog stays free. You get your own parking for up to three cars, and the whole property is yours alone during your stay. The real draw is access to a shared heated indoor pool roughly 8 by 4 metres, plus a communal garden with seating and a BBQ, where you can settle in and look out over the countryside. The place suits families and couples; smoking is not permitted.
