Woodlands Barn

The High Peak walks and trails around Chinley Local Nature Reserve are on your doorstep—this converted stable sits above the village with views across the reserve and surrounding hills. A mile's walk or drive brings you to a pub; the Peak District proper spreads out beyond. The property is yours alone, a single-storey barn renovation from 2023 with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and space for four people plus one large dog or two small ones.

Both bedrooms have kingsize beds (one splits into singles on request), and each has its own shower room. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, slow cooker, dishwasher, washing machine. The living room has a Smart TV and electric wood burner. A front patio with chiminea and garden furniture looks out over the reserve. The essentials—heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are included; pets stay free. There's parking for two cars, a bike store, and an EV charging point available by arrangement. A travel cot and highchair can be set up if needed. No smoking in the property.
