About Travelodge High Wycombe Central
High Wycombe's centre is built around the Eden Shopping Centre and a cluster of shops, restaurants and bars, and Travelodge High Wycombe Central puts guests right in the middle of it on Octagon Parade. It's a practical base for exploring the town on foot, with the train station also within easy reach for onward travel around Buckinghamshire.
The hotel has 120 rooms across four floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option of drinks kept in the room, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. A lift serves all floors, and there's a bar and restaurant on site along with breakfast service, so guests can eat in without having to head out. Rooms are generally kept clean and staff are helpful, though some can be noisy given the central location, and parking isn't on site - the nearest option is chargeable parking at Eden Shopping Centre on Lily's Walk, about four minutes' walk away.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers plenty to fill an evening or a day, from pubs and restaurants to entertainment venues, and there's a golf course and watersports nearby for those wanting to get outdoors. Pets are welcome, making it a workable stop for travellers on the move rather than a destination in itself.

What guests say
I recently stayed at Travelodge High Wycombe and found it to be a reasonable option for a short stay for business. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent town centre location, with plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, and other amenities all within easy walking distance. This made it very convenient, especially in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable enough; however, it was very warm during my stay. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning or fan provided, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Another downside was the parking arrangement. The car park is not on-site and requires a fair walk to and from the hotel, which can be inconvenient when carrying luggage. An on-site car park would have made the experience much better. Overall, the location is the standout feature of this hotel. While there are a few areas that could be improved, particularly room cooling and parking convenience, it remains a decent choice for anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of High Wycombe.

Entrance to the hotel room was stained, as was various parts of the carpet inside the room. Only managed to find one tv channel that was working, which was TLC, all of the other channels just had too much interference or no signal at all. Parking was a complete disaster as we arrived in a long wheelbase van which was higher than the height restriction of the multistory carpark, so we had to leave the van in what appeared to be a bit of a dodgy car park near the train station - a 15 minute walk to the hotel. Arrived to find a couple of young men holding the entrance door open while smoking a joint. Yes, it is a budget hotel, but I’ve stayed in better equipped hotels in developing countries - this place really shouldn’t be deemed as acceptable, because it simply just isn’t!

I recently stayed at the Travelodge High Wycombe Central hotel. The location is very convenient because it is close to the town centre, shops, and transport. The check-in process was quick and the room was simple but comfortable for a short stay. However, there were some issues that could be improved. The room facilities were quite basic and the hotel can be noisy because it is near busy roads and nightlife areas. The Wi-Fi connection and some room amenities could also be better. Overall, it is a budget hotel suitable for short stays, mainly because of the good location and reasonable price. Improving room maintenance and reducing noise would make the stay much better.

The shower, you need to be an experienced safecracker to understand how to use it, no icons or guide to tell you to use it. The usb ports were broke luckily we had a battery pack with us. Car park charged us £17 for 2 days which is to be expected. Bed was good though.
