Stayed here in our large tent for a week in July, very hot week, quite breezy. We were pitched on the rally field which is next to the sheep and cows, just outside the main site. Large pitch with water and electric, nice and level with a river running at the end of the field. The amenities block behind us was spotless with showers and loos and a kitchen with a deep sink, fridge & microwave. Plenty of hot water, a bit too hot for us in the showers!. Walking around the main site, it is quite lovely with a fair few static vans close to the river side. Nice area for tourers etc looking at the river and a really nice lake set back from the main site. Enjoyed a lovely walk around the lake with the geese and ducks following along. My biggest complaint would be the very high temperature of the shower without the ability to adjust (a cool shower is just as refreshing) and just the one hook on the shower door. M5 can be heard but it is not overly intrusive, it certainly did not disturb our sleep. All in all, a really nice site with friendly owners which is in the process of getting even better. It is a site we would return to if going back to the area. Looking forward to seeing the lions in place.

I am a little bit delayed in writing this review. We booked to stay here for 7 nights but we loved it so much we stayed for an extra 4. It is a truly lovely spot and the facilities are superb. The showers and toilets are truly the best we have experienced in the 5 months we have been on the road, super clean and so toasty and warm. We made use of the laundry facilities too which like the toilets and showers were absolutely spotless. Nicola very kindly allowed us to go and see some of the newborn lambs which as you can imagine was super special. Thank you all at West Hill Farm you will certainly be seeing us again

2 weeks of rest and relaxation. Lovely quiet site. Even during the healing weekend. This is the 5th time we have stayed and will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from a week's stay on the 5 caravan CL and can't speak highly enough of the location and facilities. The welcome was friendly, as always, and, whilst we have stayed here on previous pre-lockdown occasions, we were very impressed with the improved facilities - 2 showers, 2 toilets and a kitchen for exclusive use of CL caravanners. Water tap, drain and 16A mains supply at each hardstanding pitch. Even the weather was good for most of our stay, considering it's November!
