This stone semi-detached cottage sits back from Grantown-on-Spey's main street, within the Cairngorms National Park and between two ski areas. Built with traditional character, it has low ceilings and uneven floors throughout, with a spiral staircase to the first floor—worth noting if you have mobility concerns or young children. The building retains period features including two woodburners, one in the living room and one in the kitchen/dining area, with a good stock of logs provided for your stay.
The ground floor holds a living room with French doors onto a lawned garden, a kitchen/dining room with electric cooker and microwave, bathroom with bath and shower, and a utility room with tumble dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with a double and a single—plus a shower room. You get the whole property to yourself, with electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels included. One dog stays free. There is parking for one car on site.
The town centre is a short walk away, with pubs, restaurants and shops within 200 yards. An 18-hole golf course is in Grantown, and skiing at Cairngorm and Lecht are both accessible. No smoking inside the property.
