Families and small groups will find plenty to do at Achnashellach's Garden Cottage, a stone-built house in the Highland region with space to spread out and a real sense of somewhere cared for. The cottage sleeps four: a king bed in one room, twin beds in the other, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs, there's a living room with a woodburner (fuel included), a dining room, a kitchen with the basics for self-catering, and a games room with a pool table. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all provided.
One dog can stay free, and the back garden is fully enclosed so no lead is needed there—the front garden looks out towards deer and other wildlife, so dogs should stay on a lead when outside the boundary. Private parking fits two cars. Achnashellach is surrounded by walking country: the Coulin Pass leads to the Torridon mountains, there are river routes through the valleys, and climbing days are possible on nearby peaks. A stream runs 200 yards from the house, and the cottage draws water from its own well. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available on request for families with younger children. No smoking indoors.
