Lochcarron Lodge
Highland
Lochcarron sits on Scotland's west coast, a village where the mountains meet the sea and the North Coast 500 passes through. Lochcarron Lodge faces directly onto the beach, with views across the loch and hills from multiple rooms. This three-bedroom house sleeps six and works as a whole private base for exploring the Highlands, whether for a week or a few days.
Downstairs holds a living room with sea views, a kitchen and dining area with woodburner and Aga, a sun room opening onto a patio and lawn, and a utility room. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor: the main has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second holds twin singles with ensuite; the third, a double. A family bathroom with shower over the bath serves the third bedroom. One dog stays free. The essentials—heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi—are included, as are initial logs for the woodburner. Parking for four cars is available. No smoking indoors.
The garden has a patio and sitting areas where you can watch the water. Local shops are within a short walk. Families with young children find the lawn and beach nearby useful; dogs do well here too.
