🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Ardbrae

Walking through Ardbrae, you find four bedrooms spread across two floors, three bathrooms, and space for eight guests. The ground floor opens into a living room with a wood burner and smart TV, alongside a dining room that leads through French doors to the garden. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer. Two single beds (2ft 6in) share an ensuite on this level, while a double bedroom comes with its own separate toilet.

Upstairs, a super kingsize bed dominates the master bedroom, which opens onto a small balcony and has an ensuite with bath. The fourth bedroom holds another pair of single beds and connects to a family bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard, along with logs for the wood burner. Two cars can park on site. The front garden has a seating area and furniture; there are three steps into the garden itself, and the property is no-smoking throughout.

The location sits within Auchnahillin Holiday Park near Inverness, in the Highlands. Fort William and Glen Nevis are roughly a 13-mile drive away, the Great Glen Way passes nearby for walking, and the village of Spean—with a shop, restaurants and a golf club—is close by.

Excellent bnb. Can't fault it. We rented full house via airbnb. Its on a small farm and we had the chance of feeding the animals. Good quality furniture and comfortable beds, even had a washing machine, dish washer and coffee machine. 10 min drive into Inverness down the A9. Highly recommended!

Quaint and quiet. Good views and close enough to Inverness to be an easy commute. The hosts are excellent as are most other guests here. Will definitely do this again!

It's cute and homey and the weather is sunny! Not the usual Scotland so that's a bonus!
