Dalcomera stands in open countryside near Gairlochy, within reach of some of the Highlands' most distinctive peaks. Ben Nevis, Carn Mor Dearg and Aonach Mor dominate the views, and the Caledonian Canal runs just a few hundred yards away—ideal for anyone drawn to water-based exploration or the Great Glen Way. The Lochy river borders the property, and fishing can be arranged separately. Those keen on mountain activities will find Aonach Mor's ski slopes and biking terrain close by, alongside opportunities for rafting and ice climbing.
Inside, the house has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The ground floor holds a kitchen with an electric range and dishwasher, a dining area with patio doors to the garden, and a separate living room warmed by an electric stove. Upstairs, bedroom one has a kingsize bed and balcony access, while bedrooms two and three both offer kingsize beds (bedroom two can be split into singles). Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Parking for three cars sits on the drive; a separate utility room houses the washing machine, and an enclosed garden with patio, furniture and barbecue provides outdoor space. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The property is for adults and children aged five and over only; no smoking indoors.

This former B&B is now a vacation house for rent. The owners live next door and are great at giving pointers for trips. Loved chatting with Heather! The house is big, comfortable and has the most stunning view of the Ben Nevis range. It's a great place to venture out in the Highlands while being a oasis of tranquility. Ideal to wind down. The rooms are big, with big comfortable beds, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room has comfortable sofa's. Loved our time there!

I had an emergency on the canal and needed somewhere to stay very last minute. Heather put me up here and couldn't have been nicer or more friendly. They went above and beyond to help me out and make sure I was well looked after. The scenery here is absolutely stunning too, and I'd recommend anybody visiting the area to stay here
