Bervie Road Cottage
Highland
Bervie Road Cottage sits on one level throughout, overlooking the working harbour at Kinlochbervie in the far northwest Highlands. The layout is deceptively spacious: a large open-plan kitchen and dining area flows into a generous living room with sea views, while three double bedrooms and two bathrooms are distributed along the hallway—one bedroom has its own ensuite. An enclosed garden with seating faces the water.
The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and slow cooker, plus a breakfast table for informal meals. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all provided. One well-behaved pet stays free. The cottage suits families or groups of up to six, and anyone interested in the working harbour can watch the fishing boats from the house itself.
Kinlochbervie is a launching point for exploring some of the coast's remotest beaches. Oldshoremore lies a couple of miles away—the first of several sandy beaches within reach, including the smaller Polin and Sheigra, and Sandwood Bay at the end of a three-mile walk. The area draws walkers and those seeking genuinely quiet stretches of shore.
