Burnside Lodge is a self-contained two-bedroom property in Torlundy, on the outskirts of Fort William, with views across the River Lundy towards the mountains. Everything you need is here: a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer; a living space with wood burner, TV and DVD player; two bathrooms; bed linen, towels and wi-fi; and a private sauna. The bedrooms are a kingsize with ensuite shower and a zip-and-link twin, and the whole lodge sits on one floor. Decking with garden furniture and a BBQ opens from the living area, and there's parking for two cars on site. Initial logs for the wood burner are included, as is a welcome pack.
The location suits walkers, mountain bikers, kayakers and climbers – these activities are all within a few miles, as is skiing. Fort William itself has shops, pubs, restaurants, castles, museums and distilleries to explore, and the West Highland Steam Train runs to Mallaig. A shop is 1½ miles away, a pub 1 mile and a restaurant 2 miles. The property is non-smoking. The riverbank is unfenced in the car park area, which is worth noting if you're travelling with young children.

Burnside Lodge is an absolute gem. Set in a peaceful spot beside a small river, it offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views of Ben Nevis right outside the door. The hosts were wonderful — they’d thoughtfully stocked the lodge with tea, coffee, milk, a bottle of wine, and even a little box of chocolates, which made the stay feel extra special. It’s the perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and feel truly looked after. I’d happily stay again It also has a sauna too

Wow...what an amazing place to stay. Absolutely beautiful inside and out...this accommodation had everything that you would need and more. Lynore the owner is a fantastic host, she and her husband live next door and are extremely friendly and helpful 😀. If you're looking for a quiet uninterrupted space, to connect with nature, this is it. It's a 10mins drive out of Fort William on the A82 road towards Inverness. You have a view of Ben Nevis, when it's not cloudy, there is a patio setting overlooking the river, with daily visits from the ducks. Look up aswell to see the milky way. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, a double oven, and all the gadgets you will need. A lovely sauna to relax in aswell...I can't recommend this place enough. I for one, will definitely come back and stay again...August 8-15th was £1400...
