Darna House

Darna House works well for larger groups and families wanting a full property to themselves. The four bedrooms sleep up to eight: a zip-and-link super kingsize on the ground floor, two more zip-and-link super kingsize rooms (each convertible to twin beds) upstairs, and a twin room. Two bathrooms serve the house—a shower room downstairs, a full bathroom with over-bath shower on the first floor.

The ground floor is built around an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space with bi-fold doors onto a partially covered patio. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook and eat as you choose. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Private parking is available on site. The property is a mile south of Tain, in Easter Ross, close enough to explore but set in semi-rural surroundings. Portmahomack, Dornoch Beach and Shandwick Bay are within reach for coastal walks. Tain and Tarbat Golf Courses are nearby, as is Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Horse riding, mountain biking, fishing and paddle boarding are all available locally. Supermarkets and other facilities are in Tain itself. Smoking is not permitted.
