Couples and small families will find Eagle Brae – Cinclus works well for a Highland break. The cabin sleeps four across two bedrooms: a zip-and-link super king downstairs (which can split into singles on request) and two single beds on a galleried mezzanine floor upstairs. There is one bathroom with both a bath and separate shower cubicle. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site and a Tesla Destination Charger nearby if needed.
The ground floor is largely open-plan, with a wood burner anchoring the living and dining area, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven, hob, dishwasher and the rest. A second living room and study space upstairs give you room to spread out. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the essentials are covered: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, plus fuel for the burner. Outside there is a patio with garden furniture overlooking the grounds.
Strathglass and the village of Beauly offer access to walking, wildlife spotting and local exploring. The cabin is non-smoking, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.

We didn't stay there, but after we arrived in Scotland we were looking online for any places to see the fairly rare four-horned Hebridean sheep. (We had looked while on some islands in the outer Hebrides a week or two ago, but no luck there, actually.) When I saw online that Eagle Brae might have them, I messaged them to see if it'd be ok to stop by briefly to have a look and take photos, and they replied almost immediately. 👍 Thanks, Eagle Brae (a big shout-out to Pawana!), for allowing us non-guests to swing by and marvel at these fascinating creatures! 🙏

Absolutely stunning! We loved every minute there and wished we could stay longer! A hidden gem that we highly recommend. The closest to a ‘British Columbia’ vibe one can find in Europe

Lovely cabins in a great location. Deer walking at a few metres away on the grounds. Service was excellent, prepared meals were tasty. The cabins were well equiped: big freezer, fridge, microwave, washing machine. The beds were good and the bed linen very nice. Activities we did: rifle shooting, camera stalking, canoe trip were all great fun. Hanny and Rob

There's is no denying the location is wonderful, beautiful & peaceful. The structure of the log cabins are incredible and really grand. Much more impressive in person but I feel for what you pay to stay in one the interior doesn't quite marry up to the cost. A few things I feel would be worth going back to and reviewing... No coffee machine - we took our own. The smaller table and chairs on our dec that was movable when you moved it to be sat in the sun you were below a leak in the gutter so had a constant drip onto the decking. Only supplied a number of small plastic bottles for body wash/ lotion. Felt rationed. Also kept slipping out of my hand whilst showering. Glass dispenser bottles advised. We were very fortunate to have a week of wonderful sunshine but no loungers or more relaxed seating on deck. Tiny hand soaps that didn't last. No bubble bath. Drip off roof on dec. Food VERY expensive. The concierge service was far too pricey for example one Himilayan curry for 2 if I remember correctly was £25 but it was only the curry - no rice / side/bread. Hob fragility. I lost my £200 security deposit due to dropping a serving dish on the hob (which I acknowledge was my own fault) which smashed the glass top. When I went to speak to reception the lady behind the desk told me how many get broken. Maybe worth a more durable alternative or a notice of warning to guests. Charging for tic cards. I have stayed at places half the price that offer a much more thoughtful experience internally. It was lovely and as I mentioned the cabins are so impressive but I wouldn't stay again unfortunately.
