Eagle Brae - Strix

Strix is a log cabin at Eagle Brae in Strathglass, near Beauly in the Highland region. Built from hand-hewn logs, it sits within grounds that include a patio and garden furniture, with parking for two cars on site. One pet is welcome here.

The cabin has one bedroom with a zip-and-link bed that can split into singles on request, and one bathroom with a bath and shower over. The ground floor is open-plan, combining living space, dining area and kitchen; upstairs there's a second living area and a study. A wood-burning stove warms the interior, and underfloor central heating runs throughout. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and wood for the stove are all included.

Strathglass offers quiet Highland countryside close to Beauly. No smoking inside the cabin.
