Bottlenose dolphins congregate at Chanonry Point, visible from this lodge, making the Black Isle one of Europe's premier spots to watch them. The wider area draws walkers and cyclists for its abundance of roe deer, pine martens, buzzards and otters, plus local history woven through every path. Fortrose and Rosemarkie villages, a few miles away, have pubs serving food and shops for supplies.
Pine Lodge is a detached property sleeping four across two bedrooms—a double and a twin—with one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining area with a 43-inch TV opens onto a garden via patio doors; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Parking for two cars sits adjacent, and one well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.
The lodge occupies an elevated position with sea views across shared grounds. The owner lives on-site and can suggest walks tailored to your interests. This suits families and groups seeking a base for exploring the Highlands' quieter northeast corner, whether you're keen on dolphin spotting, rambling or simply sitting on the balcony watching the landscape shift through the seasons.

What a beautiful place to stay. I was travelling for work and had a whole month to enjoy the views and serenity that the Flowerburn holiday homes had to offer. With Rosemarkie, Chanonry point and Fortrose just down the road, and easy connections to the rest of the black isle and beyond it's an ideal place to stay for a holiday in the Black Isle and Highlands.
