The Scottish Highlands around Fort William offer year-round appeal. Ben Nevis dominates the landscape—Britain's highest mountain, accessible via walking routes from beginner to advanced. Glencoe is a short drive away, its valley and waterfalls drawing hikers and photographers. Sea lochs frame the region, and in summer the Jacobite steam train runs from Fort William to Mallaig. Skiing, canoeing, mountain biking, fishing and pony trekking all happen locally. If you'd rather stay put, there are restaurants worth the trip and boat trips on the lochs.
Fyvie Cottage is a single-storey detached property sleeping four. The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a sofa bed (double), a separate bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a bathroom with both bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and washer-dryer for longer stays. Wifi and heating are included; parking for two cars sits on the grounds. A patio with garden furniture and a barbecue overlooks Ben Nevis. The cottage is non-smoking. A travel cot and high chair are available on request.
