Glenlude suits families and small groups after a Highland base with room to spread out. The three bedrooms—a kingsize, two singles, and another single—sleep up to five, while one bathroom serves the property. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area flows together, with a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and there's a private seating area outside overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The lodge sits in Kylesku, in north-west Highland, a small harbour settlement on the way to some of Scotland's most dramatic terrain. Boat trips from the harbour spot seals, porpoises and sea eagles. Walkers have the Assynt range and Quinag nearby, plus the Kylesku Bridge as a local landmark. Hidden beaches and lochs dot the wider area for those willing to explore. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi are included; there is parking for two cars on site. No smoking inside.

We absolutely love these beautiful lodges. The views are breathtaking with full length patio doors giving constant views over the loch and Quinag mountains. A lot of work has been done in upgrading the lodges, making them homely and warm, and just a lovely place to relax on the balcony after a day of exploring this stunning area. This is our 7th visit and I can't think of anywhere with more stunning views than here. Beautiful to wake up to and beautiful sunsets at the end of the day, just perfect x

This was my second stay at Kylesku, the first was in 2016 when I was spoilt weatherwise with a mini heatwave and gorgeous sunsets. Returning in 2025 to a refreshed and refurbished Lodge was a delight, being October the weather was a bit mixed with little wind, some sun and some rain. “Quinag” was perfect, a lovely large bedroom, plenty of space. The towels and bedding smelt wonderful, the lodge was clean and well equipped, can’t think of anything it didn’t have. Thanks to Karen for providing a wonderful lodge and the communication before arrival was great. Hope to return one day 😊

The Sconser Lodge we stayed in was immaculate and refurbished to a very high standard, the views were breathtaking and we were even lucky enough to witness deer on our doorstep. Overall a wonderful stop on our NC500 trip.
