Kylesku is a working harbour village where boat trips depart to spot seals, porpoises and sea eagles, and the dramatic peaks of Quinag and Assynt rise within walking distance. Hidden beaches, quiet lochs and ancient sites reward exploration across this stretch of north-west Highland landscape. The Kylesku Bridge stands nearby as a striking architectural landmark.
Kylesku Lodges is a three-bedroom property sleeping up to five, with everything on the ground floor: an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space where a smart TV provides evening entertainment, and three bedrooms (one kingsize, two singles, one single) sharing a shower room. The kitchen has what you need for self-catering—electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A balcony with outdoor furniture looks over the surroundings. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; private parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The setting suits families or small groups wanting to base themselves for walking, wildlife watching or simply sitting still in one of the quietest corners of Scotland.

We absolutely love these beautiful lodges. The views are breathtaking with full length patio doors giving constant views over the loch and Quinag mountains. A lot of work has been done in upgrading the lodges, making them homely and warm, and just a lovely place to relax on the balcony after a day of exploring this stunning area. This is our 7th visit and I can't think of anywhere with more stunning views than here. Beautiful to wake up to and beautiful sunsets at the end of the day, just perfect x

This was my second stay at Kylesku, the first was in 2016 when I was spoilt weatherwise with a mini heatwave and gorgeous sunsets. Returning in 2025 to a refreshed and refurbished Lodge was a delight, being October the weather was a bit mixed with little wind, some sun and some rain. “Quinag” was perfect, a lovely large bedroom, plenty of space. The towels and bedding smelt wonderful, the lodge was clean and well equipped, can’t think of anything it didn’t have. Thanks to Karen for providing a wonderful lodge and the communication before arrival was great. Hope to return one day 😊

The Sconser Lodge we stayed in was immaculate and refurbished to a very high standard, the views were breathtaking and we were even lucky enough to witness deer on our doorstep. Overall a wonderful stop on our NC500 trip.
