Quinag is a two-bedroom lodge at Kylesku Lodges, a collection of properties in the far northwest of Highland. The property sleeps three: one bedroom has a king bed, the other a single. There is one shower room. Ground floor layout means the open-plan living space, kitchen and dining area are all one room, with a wood burner as its focal point. Large windows frame views toward woodland and hills. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric cooker, induction hob, microwave, fridge and coffee machine—and there is also a washing machine. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with logs for the burner.
A private balcony with outdoor furniture sits separate from the main lodge, and there is parking for two cars on site. The setting is coastal rural, though Kylesku village itself is a small working community rather than a resort. From here, boat trips run to spot seals, sea eagles and dolphins. Kylesku Bridge is a short walk away, with views across two lochs. Walkers have access to hill and moorland trails throughout the area. The lodge does not permit smoking.

We absolutely love these beautiful lodges. The views are breathtaking with full length patio doors giving constant views over the loch and Quinag mountains. A lot of work has been done in upgrading the lodges, making them homely and warm, and just a lovely place to relax on the balcony after a day of exploring this stunning area. This is our 7th visit and I can't think of anywhere with more stunning views than here. Beautiful to wake up to and beautiful sunsets at the end of the day, just perfect x

This was my second stay at Kylesku, the first was in 2016 when I was spoilt weatherwise with a mini heatwave and gorgeous sunsets. Returning in 2025 to a refreshed and refurbished Lodge was a delight, being October the weather was a bit mixed with little wind, some sun and some rain. “Quinag” was perfect, a lovely large bedroom, plenty of space. The towels and bedding smelt wonderful, the lodge was clean and well equipped, can’t think of anything it didn’t have. Thanks to Karen for providing a wonderful lodge and the communication before arrival was great. Hope to return one day 😊

The Sconser Lodge we stayed in was immaculate and refurbished to a very high standard, the views were breathtaking and we were even lucky enough to witness deer on our doorstep. Overall a wonderful stop on our NC500 trip.
