Ballachulish is a small village on the edge of Glencoe, within a mile of some of the Highlands' most recognisable terrain. Lia Fail is a detached cottage here, positioned for immediate access to hillwalking, climbing and mountain biking country. Fort William lies 15 miles south; the coast and islands—Mull, Ardnamurchan Point, the Isle of Skye—are all reachable day trips. A beach sits a mile away, and shops, pubs and restaurants are five minutes' walk.
The cottage has four bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors. Downstairs, an open-plan living space combines kitchen and dining, with a separate sitting room. Three of the bedrooms are kingsize; the fourth has two singles. Two of the upstairs rooms have ensuite showers. Heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are provided. The kitchen is fitted for self-catering: electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. A gravelled garden with seating looks onto the surrounding landscape, and parking is available for three cars. The entrance has ramped access, and the ground floor is accessible for those with mobility needs.
The property is a non-smoking space and sleeps eight. A travel cot and highchair are available by request.
