Pine Marten Cottage

Pine Marten Cottage is a detached property sleeping four, reached via a private road through trees and forest. You arrive into an open-plan ground floor with living and dining areas flowing into a kitchen equipped for self-catering—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge. French doors open onto a deck with garden furniture. A separate toilet and bike store complete the layout. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a zip-and-link super king bed (convertible to two singles), the other with two zip-and-link singles; both have televisions. The shower room has a cubicle and toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

The cottage sits close enough to the village for easy access to a supermarket, patisserie, pub, restaurant and swimming pool, yet far enough back to feel genuinely quiet. The Highland location puts you within reach of serious outdoor activities—mountain biking, climbing, walking, fishing and golf are all nearby. Fort William, marketed as the outdoor capital of the UK, is a short drive away. Glencoe Mountain Resort is equally accessible. The wider region draws visitors for kayaking, the West Highland Steam Train (including the Glenfinnan Viaduct), boat trips to Mull and Iona, castle visits, distilleries, and unspoilt beaches. Ardnamurchan Peninsula and Loch Ness are reachable day trips; Skye and Mull are further but within reach. Private parking for two cars is on site. The property has open and narrow stairs. No smoking. Children under five are not suitable for this property.
