Families and small groups will find Rocky Mountain View works well as a base for exploring Glencoe and the wider Highlands. The cottage is a semi-detached property in Ballachulish village, ground-floor throughout, with two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. There are three steps to the entrance. The living and dining space has a TV and DVD player; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi and heating are included, and bed linen and towels are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
Outside, there is a lawned garden to the rear with seating, plus parking for three cars on site. One small dog stays free. The location puts you within a mile of Glencoe itself—popular with walkers and climbers—and close to Loch Leven for water sports. Fort William, 13 miles south, is a hub for outdoor activities including the Nevis Range gondola and the Jacobite steam train. The Corran Ferry offers access to Ardnamurchan Point and the Isle of Mull. A pub is within walking distance. The property does not permit smoking.
