Four bedrooms and two bathrooms mean Locholly Lodge can sleep eight, with the principal bedroom and its ensuite occupying the first floor alongside a sitting room with views across to the Summer Isles. Downstairs, the kitchen opens through glass doors to the garden and decking where the hot tub sits. Three further bedrooms—one with a super kingsize bed, two with singles—and a family bathroom complete the ground floor layout.
The setting is remote Highland coast on the Achiltibuie Peninsula, surrounded by the landscape that attracts walkers, climbers, kayakers and mountain bikers. Wildlife here includes seals, otters, deer and golden eagles. A sauna is built into the principal ensuite. The garden is lawned with patio and terrace space, a BBQ, and room for three cars to park. One dog is welcome. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. No smoking throughout.
The nearest school is Achiltibuie Primary. An unfenced stream runs alongside the property.

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Locholly Lodge. Had a fantastic time staying in this lovely Lodge, had great underfloor heating, comfortable seating area to enjoy the stunning views, super clean and extra cosy bed and a sauna and hot tub to relax and unwind. Definitely recommend and can't wait to come back

We were a group of eight people who stayed in this cottage for three days. First of all, in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, the cottage was at a very poor level. All the bed sheets, pillow covers, and blankets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell and it was obvious they hadn’t been changed for a long time. There were absolutely no basic hygiene supplies available, such as shampoo, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, or even clean towels. It is truly shameful that we paid £1300 for three days, yet the owner didn’t provide even the most basic necessities. Honestly, we did not enjoy our stay at all, and I would not recommend this cottage to anyone. It felt like we simply threw our money away by booking this place. We traveled from Glasgow and drove nearly five hours to get to this cottage, only to find it in such poor and dirty condition. On top of that, the owner did not even bother to answer our messages or calls, and didn’t respond to our questions.

Had a great new year up in Achiltibue in Locholly Lodge with old (young at heart) friends! Couldn't fault the house, it had everything and was comfortable and clean, also warm and cosy, especially with the Highland winter blowing a hoolley outside. Would definitely recommend it for a spacious and high standard holiday house. Also the views, especially from the upstairs lounge, were spectacular! This is a remote and beautiful part of Scotland not to be missed.

We stayed for 3 days over New Year with a group of friends. Third time staying here. Beautiful house with fantastic views over the summer isles. House immaculate as always. Plenty of space for cooking/relaxing. Very comfortable beds. Great place for walking, in a peaceful location. Many thanks to the hosts who we have always found to be extremely helpful.
