Westfield House
Highland
Westfield House is a single-storey cottage sitting on the shoreline near Ullapool, with large windows framing sea views and direct access to the beach through its own grounds. The whole property is yours alone, sleeping six across three bedrooms: a double with ensuite shower, a second double, and a twin. A second bathroom with bath and shower serves the rest of the house. The living spaces are on the ground floor—sitting room with Freeview TV and DVD player, dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and microwave. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is oil central.
The two acres of gently sloping grounds descend to the water's edge, where seals, dolphins and otters are regularly spotted. A working lighthouse stands at the end of the quiet lane, and the hillside beyond the cottage offers direct access to open moorland for walking. Ullapool itself, a whitewashed harbour town designed by Telford, lies just over two miles away with restaurants, shops and boat trips along the seafront. The region is part of Europe's largest Geopark, with mountains, lochs and walking terrain throughout. There is parking for two cars and an enclosed garden area. No smoking in the house.
