Lochview

Lochview is a renovated crofthouse on the Isle of Skye near Glendale, positioned high enough to command views across the loch. The whole place is yours alone: two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), a bathroom, and a combined living room and kitchen on the ground floor. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; the open fire has coal provided.

The kitchen has a full cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave, so cooking for four is straightforward. The living room has a television and Echo speaker. There is private parking for two cars on site, and the entrance is level. The crofthouse sits on open land, which gives the views their uninterrupted quality.

Glendale is a base for walking, cycling and exploring Wester Ross and Plockton; a shop and café are two miles away. The location suits a quiet break rather than a social holiday. No smoking indoors.
