Skye Eco Bells

On the Island you can see several same pods, bases near highstreets, what you can find anywhere… Therefore we are so so happy we have choosen for the unique spot Scott and Nadia have created. Its such a great concept of living off grid: great out side warm shower, lovely commen áreas and the hut was cozy and warm (in october!). You feel very at home at this place in nature which is clearly hosted with passion and a heart for sustainability. This stay was truly a plus to our stay in Skye, where we did beautiful hikes of The Quarang and Old Mann of Storr. Thanks Scott & Nadia!

Enjoyed our stay. Well equipped for self catering. Superb location for wildlife. A totally different experience for us, a mid 60s couple, but we had lots of laughs cooking in the kitchen shack, and loved the cosy bed and duvet. Shower was rejuvenating. Little tip - take your own matches/lighter. Plenty of matches supplied but whilst we were there they became damp and tricky to light.

We absolutely loved our time at Skye Eco Bells. From the cook houses to the green house shower to our delightful fairy cottage, everything was perfectly organized, clean and beautiful. We had the best sleeps we have had in years. We are sorry we didn't get to chat with Scott and Nadia but I had a great conversation with their very pleasant little boy who taught me all about bicycles. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to unplug and enjoy peace and quiet.

This place is an experience itself. We loved it! Is very much off grid, there is no electricity and no WiFi, the signal is very weak, but that's all the point of this place, be in contact with the nature and appreciate the surrounding rather than be on the phone. We stayed in the tend and it was amazing, the place is clean and the bed comfortable, plenty of blanket to stay warm if you need. The sharing area were amazing, there is hobs with gas you can use for cooking and washing up areas. There are some torch around the camp you can use during the night but it's mostly candle, which was amazing. We also love the log burner in the hub, made the atmosphere incredible. The campost toilet isn't the best to be honest but it match the philosophy of the place. The shower is amazing and warm. I would only add the possibility to have hot water on the washing up areas. For the rest it all amazing. I would love to go back!
