Lower Whinhill

Lower Whinhill suits families and small groups needing space to spread out. The detached house has three bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed and ensuite on the ground floor, two upstairs with zip-and-link beds that convert to singles if needed—and three bathrooms. You get the whole place to yourselves, with private parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with patio seating.

The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview Smart TV opening onto the garden, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and combi microwave. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and underfloor heating are included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. One dog is welcome. Note that smoking is not permitted.

The location sits a mile west of Dornoch on the Lonemore road, so you're far enough out for peace and views toward the Dornoch Firth, yet a short drive from the town's shops and restaurants. Camore Woods to the north offers walks ranging from thirty minutes to two hours. The Lochans across the road has fishing for trout, a driving range and pitch-and-putt course, plus access to a sandy beach. The far north Highlands are within easy reach for day trips.
