Walk up four steps and you're in the Old Distillery Apartment, all on the third floor of what was once the Millhouse building for Glenlochy Distillery. The layout is open-plan: a combined kitchen, living and dining space that stretches across the floor, with both bedrooms off to the side. The first bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), as does the second. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over it and a heated towel rail. Everything you need for cooking is here—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer—along with a washing machine tucked into the kitchen area.
The apartment is yours alone, sleeping four. Parking for two cars sits directly outside. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A welcome pack is waiting when you arrive. The building stands in a quiet residential pocket of Fort William, central enough that the town centre, shops and transport links are within walking distance or a short drive, yet removed from the bustle. Ben Nevis is nearby; so are the distillery visitor centre, Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase, and the train station where the Harry Potter Steam Train runs. No smoking inside.
