Old Post Office House
Highland
Old Post Office House is a traditional stone cottage on a quiet lane in Highland countryside, with direct access to walking routes and Inverness just a short drive away. The ground floor holds a spacious living and dining room centred around a woodburner, a kitchen with full cooking facilities, a sun room, and a family bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with zip-and-link singles that can be arranged as a double or kept separate. The property sleeps four and comes with a private enclosed garden, parking for two cars, and heating and essentials included; a first supply of logs for the stove is also provided.
The gardens are largely screened by mature trees and shrubs, offering genuine seclusion despite the open countryside setting. A small porch at the front catches views across the surrounding fields—a place to settle with a coffee between excursions. Walkers and cyclists use this stretch of Highland regularly, particularly those tackling longer-distance routes on quieter roads. One dog stays free of charge. The property does not permit smoking indoors.
