Outlander Cottage

Outlander Cottage is a traditional stone building that has been restored as a ground-floor retreat in the Highland region. The single bedroom contains a king-size bed, and there is a shower room with double shower. An open-plan living space combines the sitting area, dining space and kitchen, with an open fire as its focal point and an electric hob for cooking. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, along with the initial fuel for the fire.

The real draw here is outside. A wood-fired hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, built for two people and completely private. Garden furniture lets you settle in the sitting-out area when you are not soaking. You have parking for one car and somewhere to store bikes if you bring them. The cottage allows no smoking.

The coastal location puts you near both outdoor pursuits and historical sites. Cawdor Castle and its gardens are accessible, as are woodland walks. Inverness, with its shops, cathedral and riverside setting, is a short drive away.
