Pine View works well for couples or families of up to four seeking a quiet base in the Highlands. The two bedrooms—one double, one twin—sit upstairs alongside a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is open-plan living with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine are all there. The lounge has a TV and Wi-Fi; heating and utilities are included. There's parking for two cars on site and a shared lawn outside.

Invergarry puts you within reach of serious Highland scenery and activities. The Great Glen route—a 79-mile path for walking and cycling—runs through the village. Loch Ness is seven miles away via Fort Augustus. Isle of Skye is accessible by road bridge or, seasonally, by ferry from Glenelg. Fort William, known for outdoor pursuits and winter sports, is 45 minutes south. The area also has adventure operators offering white-water rafting, kayaking, abseiling and archery. The property doesn't take children under six. No smoking inside.
