Sadly the services here are closed (bar etc) so its just your accomodation. Nice scenery but no shops etc nearby.

Basically we booked True North Lodge in Airbnb and the hosts Caroline and Dave were amazing. 1. The view from house is amazing 2. Its fully decked including kitchen essentials 3. Adjacent to Loch Oich and views are awesome 4. Great jogging track along the canal to Eagle barge 5. You can spend 2-3 days exploring the surroundings 6. There are 3 bedrooms but only one toilet and great kitchen and living room overlooking the lawns We stayed for 3 nights and felt shd have stayed more

I'm currently staying in pine needle lodge and the owner Grace has been amazing. She made sure we knew exactly where we were going beforehand via email, and to contact her if we needed anything else. We've had a day of no power today because of the weather and she made sure to email me, to make sure we were comfortable till the power comes back on. I've never stayed in a more thought out place before. The decor is beautiful and it literally has everything we need for the week. From a washing machine, washing pods, washing up stuff, some toiletries, towels to a hamper overflowing with stuff for us to eat and drink. The place itself is lovely, we're already thinking about booking here again for next christmas.

Love this place. Reception staff, cleaners and maintenance staff very helpful and friendly. Very relaxing holiday. Lodges comfortable some are needing little bit of work. But very comfortable. The Lodge restaurant which is run separately we didn't use this time, although it's pot luck if it's open. On face book it do open at 10 bit tends to open 11 or later in the day.
