Pods on the Croft - Duich is a single pod sleeping two, positioned in the crofting hamlet of Avernish with unobstructed views across the loch to Eilean Donan Castle. Everything is on the ground floor: a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and an open-plan living and kitchen space that opens onto a private decking area. The kitchen is fully functional with a hob, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, fridge and coffee machine, so you can cook properly or keep things simple. A smart TV, heating and hot water are provided, along with wifi, bed linen and towels.
The pod sits among other holiday properties on the croft, with shared grounds and garden furniture; parking for one car is private to your unit. This is a no-smoking property and not suitable for children under 17. From here you can walk the shoreline, watch for otters and seals on the water, or use the location as a base for exploring nearby routes like the Five Sisters of Kintail. The nearest town is Portree, reachable by car in about 40 minutes.

We stayed here in 2022 and it was the highlight of our trip. We loved the pod and the views from it were amazing. We also appreciated Flora's information folder with knowledge for travelers. It was a great experience and we definitely want to go back to the pod again in the future.

We had a wonderful time on Skye, stayed in the Buzzard pod and have to say it exceeded our expectations! Everything spotlessly clean, amazing shower and the bed is so comfy. The Pod has everything you need without being cluttered. Flora has thought of everything and the information folder is so helpful. It is in a great location for getting out and about and was lovely having the open outlook yet having our own privacy. We highly recommend both the Pods on the Croft and Flora as she is a lovely hostess. We will come back! x

This adorable pod was mine and my partners favorite on our road trip. Flora was really welcoming. The pod was beautifully clean and tidy. It also has everything you could need. It was so nice to have a proper mattress and a duvet (rather than our sleeping bags), towels were also provided. The fridge, kettle and microwave were also great to have and Flora even left us some milk. The view is fantastic we loved every minute - would recommend 100%

Fantastic place to stay and Flora is the sweetest. Wish we had been able to stay longer! The pod was super cozy, had everything we needed, perfect location and gorgeous views. Highly recommend and hope to make it back again someday. Skye is gorgeous!
