You step straight into Seaside Cottage's open-plan living and dining room – no corridors, no stairs, everything on one level. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower, while the second bedroom with twin beds connects to a full bathroom with both shower and bath, plus there's a separate toilet. Ground-floor practicality meets comfort here: electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wifi and parking for two cars on site.

The cottage faces Loch Duich directly, with a wildlife observation hide at the water's edge where seals, porpoises and otters appear regularly. The Five Sisters of Kintail rise across the water. A garden with patio looks out over the same view. There's fishing from nearby rocks, and a private slipway if you bring a boat. Non-smokers only. Kyle, 12 miles south, has a bridge to Skye and shops; Dornie upstream gives access to the Falls of Glomach. A shop and pub are within walking distance.
