Riverside Cottage is a single-storey property in Inchnadamph, a remote village in the Scottish Geopark. The cottage sits on a rough track, genuinely isolated but within reach of serious outdoor pursuits: Traligill Glen and its cave entrances are a short walk away, and the hills Stac Pollaidh, Canisp and Suilven are all nearby for walkers. Lochinver, a few miles south, has boats available for sea angling, while local permits unlock trout fishing on several lochs in the area. Birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts will find Handa Island and Knockan Crag within reasonable distance.
Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space has a woodburner, TV with Freesat and Netflix, and direct access to the garden with furniture. One bedroom has a super kingsize bed, the other has two singles; there is one bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and the initial logs for the woodburner are included. Parking for two cars is on site, and one small dog is welcome. There is a pub and restaurant 200 yards away; the nearest shop is 12 miles off. No smoking throughout.
