Rock Folly
Highland
You enter Rock Folly into a generous living room anchored by a wood burner—the kind of room where a group naturally gathers. The kitchen opens off here, properly equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and space to eat together. Downstairs there's also a utility room with a washing machine and a separate toilet. Upstairs, four bedrooms sleep eight: the first has a king bed with its own shower room; the other three are doubles, served by a family bathroom with both bath and shower. Two bathrooms between eight people means mornings run smoother than they might.
The house sits on the Moray Firth coastline near Ardersier, a secluded location with views across the water. There's an enclosed garden to the back with seating, and parking for three cars. One dog stays free. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all covered; the wood burner has its first load of fuel included. The place suits families, groups of friends, or anyone after a genuine break in the Highlands without the fuss of booking separate utilities. Fort George, an 18th-century fortress, is close by if you want to explore beyond the garden.
