Seangan Lodges & Beech House - Birch Lodge
Highland
The Great Glen Way runs past the grounds here, and Ben Nevis rises across the water—this lodge sits well for walking, cycling or simply watching the Highland landscape change with the light. Fort William, twenty minutes away, is the region's hub for outdoor pursuits, with climbing, mountain biking and skiing all within reach. The Caledonian Canal itself offers gentle exploration on foot, while Glencoe, Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye are day-trip distance. The West Highland Steam Train departs from nearby, crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
Birch Lodge is a single-storey property sleeping two, with a double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, and a combined living and dining space. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Everything sits on one level; there are three steps up to the decked sitting area outside. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and wifi keeps you connected. Two cars can park on site. The 2-acre grounds are shared and wooded, with a fenced canal running 30 yards beyond the boundary. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
A pub and restaurant are two miles away; a shop three miles. This is adult accommodation—children cannot be accommodated. The lodge does not permit smoking indoors.
