Waterside Cottage

Water separates Waterside Cottage from the mainland—a working geography that shapes the whole experience here. The cottage sits minutes from the village centre in a setting that feels properly remote without the isolation. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a kingsize on the ground floor and another upstairs, plus two singles. The single bathroom has a bath with shower, and oil heating keeps things warm through the season.

The kitchen is fitted for actual cooking: electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge. Downstairs holds the living room (Freeview TV, DVD, CD player), dining room, utility room with washer and tumble dryer, and access to an enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are all included. There is parking for one car on site, and the no-smoking policy applies throughout.

The location suits people wanting to explore the island itself—castles, distilleries, quiet beaches and the Cuillin Mountains are all reachable. Shops and pubs are 500 yards away. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
