We had a great stay at Holme Farm & Campsite, and we planning to go back next year. Good facilities (great toilets/showers) , lots of site space, dog friendly. Lovely walk along the river. Sorry I got no pic's of the site but some of the river. Drive way to farm is tight but OK. You can get wood from the farmer and a fire pit.

Stumbled across this site on the way back From Scotland. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again when we visit the area. Friendly welcome. The field is huge and very quiet. Loads of space. Lovely walk along the river. Has extra bathrooms on the field. Great shower.

Me and partner stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend , loads of space we pitched up with camper and awning, nice and quiet site Can use fire pits which is a bonus to sit on a night looking at the stunning scenery Shower and toilet block basic but clean I had been intouch with the owners a couple of times very quick response. Would definitely come back to this site

This campsite is really beautiful and quiet. The toilets were clean and the showers warm, there were only about 5 other groups camping which meant it wasn’t too busy but also not deserted. There is a lovely river right beside it and you can walk down by it and swim/paddle. On the Sat night we had a pizza and it was decent. We also borrowed a fire pit and bought logs for extra which was worth it. Would definitely come back again, the owners were lovely too!
