What visitors say
We have just spent a weekend here, booked last minute and we are so pleased we picked this camp site! The place is spotless, great shower and toilet area and plenty of space to wash up! Had a great pitch area for our tent! Our dog absolutely loved the dog area and the woodland walk. The owners are so friendly and our dog loved the treats that he was given! Only a 10 minute drive to the beach, We will definitely be back soon

Ii adore this lovely campsite 🩷 Peaceful, beautiful with the warmest welcome from the owners and other visitors alike. The facilities are very good here and perfect for me and my 2 little pooches when we stay. There's an open kitchen that anyone staying can use with a microwave, kettle and toaster all well presented and immaculately clean. The showers are great too, usually when stepping out I get an immediate chill but not here, warm and cosy while getting dry and dressed 🥰 There enclosed exercise area for doggies is a huge dream for me, my girls enjoy all the different activities on offer and it's perfectly kept. Recently they have added a new road through the grassed area and they've worked tirelessly to make sure it's done quickly vans with as little disruption to visitors. I plan to continue to spend as many weekends here as possible, it's so peaceful with ducks, swans and wildlife to watch and stay amongst. Happy camping all, Nell 😎

Fantastic.friendly well looked after site It's lovely to see a site that is so loved by its owners . Sheryl and roy are a wonderful couple and welcome all the fur babies on site there is a brilliant dog enclosure and the facilities are 1st class. I've not been as much this year due to ill health and had to cut short a break recently but hopefully will return again soon when I'm up to it

First visit here, and it won't be our last! Couple in Campervan. 2 nights. 16-18 Jan. Pre-booked by 'phone a few days in advance. A nice friendly and informative welcome. Choice of available pitches. The site is nice and tidy/well maintained, even in winter. Decent facilities, with that all important heating in the showers (Much appreciated!). Again, all well thought out, and well looked after/always clean. The communal area also looked a nice touch, but January isn't the time to be sitting out! Ha Ha! Plenty of info dotted around on notice boards, with local walks/info for food takeaways etc (deliveries to site are available, but we didn't try any on this occasion). Appeared to be a good 50% of pitches in use (some appeared to be seasonal) but the site remained lovely and peaceful. Despite not being dog owners ourselves, it's clear dogs are a big thing here, but from our perspective, we never heard a peep out of them all weekend, despite us choosing the pitch closest to the (fenced off) dog exercise yard! A big thankyou to our neighbours then, for being responsible dog owners. We planned a walk along the nearby trail into Hornsea (4m each way), but on the site owner's recommendation (Thanks!) we opted for country lane to Mappleton > Hornsea (option for beach route, but we opted for the cliif-top route) > Return to site via the trail. A 10 mile loop in all, and all very enjoyable. All in all, this is our kind of site, with our kind of owner(s), our kind of neighbours, and in our kind of location. I'm tempted to use the term "Perfect"! We'll hopefully get chance to return in the sunshine, but rest assured, we'll certainly return. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful campsite. See you again? You bet we will! Regards, Ian & Vanessa, Derby.
