Go Ape Buxton

Another location ticked off! This one is one of the top for me. I absolutely loved the Alpine Zip Wire thats a new one for me. Friendly, staff! The instructor was amazing, everything was instructed clearly. I can't say one bad thing about this place.

A huge thank you to Tom, our instructor at Go Ape today! From the moment we arrived, Tom was friendly, approachable and made everyone feel completely at ease. His safety briefing was clear, thorough and easy to follow, giving us all the confidence to enjoy the course from start to finish. Tom really went above and beyond, especially by taking extra care with my nephew, Alfie. He thoughtfully helped slow him down on the zip lines to reduce the impact when landing, making sure he could enjoy the experience comfortably and safely. That kindness and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed and was hugely appreciated. Thanks to Tom’s knowledge, encouragement and professionalism, we had an absolutely fantastic day. He’s a real credit to the Go Ape team, and we’d highly recommend him to anyone visiting! Thanks again, Tom, for helping make it such a memorable experience!

We had a really great time at Go Ape. The staff were brilliant, especially Marissa who ran our session. Safety was taken seriously and everything explained well. The course was a great mix of challenges, with lots of thrilling zip wires. It was amazing being so high up in the trees, and we spent most of the time not able to see any other groups which was cool. Would definitely recommend! A great way to spend an afternoon. Useful info: Parking was £3 for the whole day, payable by card. It was a hot day but the course was in the shade and quite breezy so didn’t feel too hot at all. Cups of water were available at several points throughout the course. We finished 3.5 hours after the start time (went last and took our time). Buxton town centre is just a 15/20 minute walk away.

We recently visited Go Ape Buxton and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Matt, who greeted us on arrival, was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. He made the check-in process smooth and clearly explained what would happen next while we waited for the instructor. Hattie, our instructor, was excellent throughout the session. She ensured everyone fully understood how to approach the activities safely, carefully demonstrating how to use and attach the carabiners correctly. Hattie was patient, encouraged questions, and took the time to make sure everyone felt confident before starting. She was also available throughout the course to offer support and assistance whenever needed. Everyone in our group had a great time, and the whole experience felt safe, well-organised, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Go Ape Buxton to anyone considering a fun outdoor adventure.
