Lovely campsite! Very near to watermouth castle great views if you are pitched at the top. Great playground for kidss and a stream they played in. Kids loved the freedom. Will defo return. Food onside of the evenings was great and had a cute little bar 🍸

Watermouth has MASSIVE spot in my heart! I came every single year as a kid with my parents and their friends. And I loved and enjoyed it so much that I started to bring my little family here last year! And I'm about to go again this weekend coming with my sister and sister in law! For families - there's a lovely wooded park, and stream to play in, there is Watermouth Castle (adventure park/museum) a 2 second drive from the campsite, the harbour is a 5 minute walk from campsite, and the kids will thoroughly enjoy finding /spotting the crabs 🦀 There's also a dinosaur park I believe in Combe Martin somewhere. Adults: depending on where your pitch is you can have some AMAZING sea views! Which is beautiful to wake up too. There is a private beach that is lush too, please keep in mind there is a lot of steps through the woods to get down to it but its definitely worth it! Little rock pools to get fish and crabs from as you'll see in one of my photos **DOG FRIENDLY TOO** (At the very top of the campsite is a bench where you can look down into the private beach, then If you carry on walking up there's a gate, turn left out the gate and walk up until you see a wooden sign post for the beach directing you through the trees) I only add this on because years ago my dad and little 6 year old me climbed down the rock face 🤣 as we had no idea how to get down there (luckily we enjoyed climbing 🤣) and we then found the steps out of the place to lead us back the way we probably should have came 🤣 There is also a pub at the end of the valley section of the campsite, which has some lovely food and lovely staff. Ilfracombe is a 10-15 min if that drive, so you can access everything there, shops, pubs, beach etc The prices are so fair compared to all other campsites at the minute! I honestly can't rate this place enough and it has a very special place in my heart 🙌 if you're wanting a nice relaxing camping trip away in nature this is definitely the place to go!

What a gem of a site. The views from the hill are breathtaking and hard to leave. The site has a lovely vibe. A little shop, games room, horsebox bar, a small seating area to enjoy your drinks. A lovely stream runs alongside the site too, which I can imagine would be lovely for the little ones to paddle in on a hot day. The facilities we always clean. The owners friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Lovely campsite! Would definitely go again. Had spot on the field with seaview. Nice little shop ( obviously not cheap), good pizza, big screen to watch football. Stunning views and a beach nearby ( difficulty access but doable). Massive freezer, although some issues with temperature, would take forever to get icepacks cold.
